A Lantern Affair

A Lantern Affair at Place des Arts

Join us for a Multicultural Celebration of Light!

Saturday, December 7 from 4:30 - 7:30pm

Come celebrate the things that make us unique but together form a cultural mosaic!

Drop by Carré Heritage Square for A Lantern Affair, our free, all-ages holiday event featuring live music and song, arts activities, home baking, a pottery show and sale, a multicultural celebration of light and an original performance by Place des Arts' new Theatre Company.

Make your own lantern, choosing from designs particular to different cultures, and then participate in our festive lantern ceremony; create crafts inspired by traditional cultural designs; have a visit with Father Christmas; bake up some heritage goodies; tick some items off your gift list and more, all in three hours!

*Place des Arts will be collecting donations for the Share food and toy bank in our Atrium from November 14 to December 13. Bring a donation of food or a new, unwrapped toy when you come to A Lantern Affair for admission to our Youth Arts Council's Winter Carnival!
