Next Stage Performance 2012

Next Stage Year-End Performance

Next Stage Presents The Government Inspector!

On June 23, 2012 students of Place des Arts Next Stage Performance class presented a lively adaptation of Nikolai Gogol's famous satyrical comedy The Inspector General called The Government Inspector. The play is a comedy of errors, satirizing human greed, stupidity and the extensive political corruption. Teacher Jame's O'Shea wrote the adaptation and set the scene not in Russia, but in a small northern BC Town.

Take a look at these great images of our young actors, who had the audience in stitches with their fine performances. (Click on the thumbnails for larger images).
