Historical Drama Workshop: Radio Maillardville CFMA
Grades 6 - 8

Go back in time!
In this dynamic and collaborative three-hour workshop, students go back in time via the fictional radio station Radio Maillardville CFMA. Students recreate and record adapted versions of an original radio script based on true stories of real Maillardville characters and events of the period. View the flyer for more information.

Prescribed learning outcomes:
Place des Arts, in collaboration with qualified educators, has developed Radio Maillardville CFMA using techniques, activities, content and methods that meet diverse student needs, cross-curricular outlines and enrichment to the prescribed learning outcomes of the BC Ministry of Education Integrated Resource Package for Drama, Language Arts (French and English), Music and Social Studies.
