March 12-23, 9am-12pm
Double, double toil and trouble . . . . Before Harry Potter and Twilight was Macbeth! For two weeks, jump into the bubbling cauldron and explore one of the bloodiest plays of all time, written by the great bard himself, Will Shakespeare. Led by Kevin Bennett, named “an artist to watch out for” by the Georgia Straight, students will explore text, character and performance to bring to life a 60-minute adaptation of Macbeth.
Kevin brings a wealth of experience to his teaching and uses a physical approach learned at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England. Family and friends are invited to join in on the fun, as the workshop concludes with a final presentation on Sunday, March 25.
