General Information
To ensure every student has the best possible learning experience, Place des Arts advises the following:
- Before lessons begin, discuss with the teacher the expected goals, the method by which they can be reached and the parent's role regarding lessons.
- Changes regarding lesson time or teaching methods should be initially discussed with the teacher.
- The teacher is not obliged to give a credit, make-up lesson or refund for a lesson that a student misses. If a teacher cancels lessons, a make-up lesson or a credit will be given.
- A change of teacher or cancellation of lessons, for whatever reason, should be discussed with the teacher before making arrangements with a second teacher or the registration desk staff.
- Students are expected to complete all assignments given by the teacher between lessons to the best of his or her ability, with parent/student reviewing notebooks regularly.
- Interviews regarding a student's progress or difficulties should be arranged with the teacher as necessary.
