PdA Fiddlers (10-16 years)
Rosin up your bow and have fun learning the basics of Celtic music. Develop a repertoire of simple jigs, reels and airs and perform them each term. This group class is a great way for intermediate-level violinists (grade 3 to 6) to expand their technical and performance skills. Music will be provided.

Saxophone Ensemble (10-16 years)
This ensemble features the saxophone in all its eclectic glory! Material performed will reflect the saxophone's versatility, from classical music to contemporary jazz pieces. Aspects of playing in an ensemble with respect to blend, intonation, dynamics, and phrasing will be explored. Improvisation and the basic concepts of building your own jazz solo will be discussed. Audition required.

String Quartet (10-21 years)
The string quartet setting provides students with the opportunity to improve their accuracy of intonation and rhythm while interacting musically with one another. The quartet will have opportunities to participate in music festivals as well as in community events. Audition required. Minimum technical requirement: RCM Grade 6.

Violin Ensemble: Intro (7-12 years)
Have fun playing your violin in this introductory music ensemble. Perform a variety of music while developing bowing technique, musicality and intonation. The ensemble performs once each semester. No audition required. Minimal technical requirements: Suzuki Book 2, RCM 2, or two years private lessons.
