Miniature Exhibition

If you're an artist who likes to work on a smaller scale, Place des Arts offers a unique opportunity: the annual miniature exhibition and sale, Positively Petite.

Every year from November through December the Atrium gallery is filled with miniature artwork in all media. As purchasers may take away artwork immediately, artists may enter up to eight works initially and replace any sold pieces throughout the exhibition.

In 2010, Positively Petite runs from November 19 to December 17. The Opening Reception is Thursday, November 18 from 7:00 to 9:00pm, in conjunction with the official opening of Place des Arts' Christmas Boutique.

Entry forms must be received at Place des Arts by October 13. This is also the date for new artists to drop off work, as it must be juried before acceptance.

Returning artists must deliver artworks to Place des Arts with Artwork Identification Cards attached to the back of each work between Monday, November 1 and Sunday, November 7.
