Place des Arts awards annual scholarships and bursaries to students pursuing excellence in music, dance and visual art. Many serious and dedicated students attend classes at Place des Arts, sometimes in more than one discipline. The awards help offset the costs involved in study and reward students for their dedication and achievement.
Awards are offered in 3 categories:
1) Scholarships in recognition of artistic achievement and for overcoming a challenge are awarded based on teacher recommendations.
2) Bursaries are awarded to those who desire to continue their studies but may not be able to due to financial constraints.
3) The PdA Scholarship for Advanced Musical Studies helps offset the high expense of senior musical studies and provides extra incentive to senior students to continue their musical studies.
