The galleries at Place des Arts showcase emerging BC artists working in any media. In 2006, 242 artists exhibited their works in painting, graphite, photography, fibre arts, ceramic and print media. Place des Arts encourages exhibiting artists to complement their exhibitions with talks, demonstrations and workshops for the general public, and to participate in promotional events.
