Sessional Courses Register online anytime. We offer a variety of exciting, innovative programs during the Fall, Winter and Spring sessions. Each session introduces new ideas, techniques, and materials. As courses fill quickly, avoid disappointment and register for all three sessions at once.
Ongoing Courses Customize your own program through in person registration only. Payment must be submitted for the months of September to June at the time of registration either in full or by pre-authorized payment.
Registration Fee Sessional courses: Registration fee is included in the course fee.
Ongoing courses: $25 per year for the first family member, $20 for a second class or for an additional family member. Registration fees are non-refundable.
Refunds, Transfers and Withdrawals
Workshops/Camps:
- No refunds or transfers will be granted. Exceptions for medical or compassionate reasons may be considered.
Sessional Classes:
- A full refund or transfer will be granted if a class is cancelled by Place des Arts.
- A refund or transfer must be requested in writing at least seven calendar days prior to the start of a class. Upon approval a refund of the course fee will be granted less a processing fee of $10.
- After classes have started, no refunds or transfers will be granted. Exceptions for medical or compassionate reasons may be considered, upon receipt of a medical certificate. Upon approval, a refund of the remaining course fees will be granted less a processing fee of $10 and applicable supply fees.
Ongoing Classes / Lessons:
- A student may cancel or transfer ongoing lessons / classes. Two paid lessons notice is required to both Place des Arts and the teacher. Place des Arts will return any remaining post-dated cheques or payments once the two paid lessons notice period has lapsed.
- Credits are not given for missed lessons.
