New violin teacher Joshua Dean is directing the Junior Strings Ensemble this year. The Ensemble, for children ages 7 to 14, provides young violin, viola and cello students with a solid yet fun introduction to ensemble playing. Students will develop bowing, intonation and musical skills and experience the genius of Mozart and the storytelling of Star Wars. The ensemble performs once each semester and no audition is required. The ensemble is currently open to registration.
