Light up the Square

Light up the Square: A Lantern Affair is Carré Heritage Square's annual seasonal event. Place des Arts, Mackin Museum and the Gare de Fraser Mill Station Museum welcome one and all to join us for our joyful celebration of light.

Live music, storytelling, artisan demonstrations, arts activities and more await young and old alike. If you keep your eyes peeled, you never know who might drop in . . . maybe that jolly old elf himself, Father Christmas!

Free community workshops precede the main event and are held at Place des Arts and other venues and schools in the neighbourhood. Be sure to attend a workshop and make your very own lantern with which to deck the hall at Light up the Square.

Check back in fall 2012 for workshop dates and locations as well as more news about Light up the Square: A Lantern Affair!
