Danielle Cyr – Voice, Singing Fundamentals
Danielle Cyr, soprano, has an MMus from the University of Alberta in Vocal Performance as well as a BA in Music from Trinity Western University. Currently, Danielle is pursuing her Artist Diploma at the Vancouver Academy of Music. She has performed the role of Miss Jessel from Benjamin Britten’s The Turn of the Screw with the Accademia Europea Dell’Opera and Mrs. McLean from Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah with the Vancouver Academy of Music.
Danielle has also performed in scene excerpts as Rusalka in Dvořák’s Rusalka, Countess Almaviva in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Erste Dame in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and as Rosaline in Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss II.
Danielle is a passionate performer and teacher whose love of singing and music inspires as well as empowers students throughout their vocal and artistic development.
