Karen Kinoshita-Wood – Piano, Theory

Karen has an ARCT in Piano Performance, a Bachelor of Sacred Music (major in piano performance, minor in voice) from the Canadian Bible College and Orff training.

From 1996 – 2000 she was the music minister at Tenth Avenue Church in Vancouver. In addition to teaching at Place des Arts, Karen also taught group piano at Carillon Music in Burnaby and the BC Conservatory of Music and in her home studio.

Karen seeks to foster an enjoyment of music through learning the fundamentals of music and accomplishing musical goals such as exams and student recitals. Exams in classical and jazz styles are available.
