Margaret Purdy – Piano

Margaret has a great wealth of teaching experience with children of all ages. For the past eight years she has taught at Place des Arts, with her students achieving very fine results in exams, festivals, master classes and recitals, with several receiving awards and scholarships.

Margaret's students are always kept busy, preparing for the next event. The goal is to make each performance special and to enjoy the whole process.

Margaret feels that by continually striving to do our best, we succeed. Each of her students go into an exam knowing that whatever mark they achieve, they have succeeded. It is through working towards each student's best achievement that bonding takes place, and it continues to grow. 

Margaret believes this process requires the encouragement and support of both parents and teacher, and she welcomes parents to attend their child's lessons.
