Place des Arts offers incomparable theatre arts programs to children and youth in improvisation, scene study, musical theatre and performance. Place des Arts also offers the Tri City’s only theatrical mask classes. New this year, adults can join the fun in our Adult Intro to Theatre course, while young children can develop group interaction and communications skills in the new Drama Fun & Games class.
Our creative writing classes allow children and youth the opportunity to explore the craft of writing and learn the tricks and tools of the trade from an established writer. Our new Successful Self-Publishing Workshop is designed for writers to help them get their work out to the public. This workshop will give the inside scoop on the publishing business from established writer and Place des Arts teacher James McCann.
