Theatre Arts Classes

Place des Arts’ progressive Theatre Arts program for children and youth offers outstanding training in theatrical performance.

Our program offers introductory and intermediate-level classes and builds the fundamental skills necessary to prepare students for a pre-professional performance class for older youth. Classes are taught by highly skilled working professionals who take pride in making sure all students receive personalized attention. Class sizes are based on the needs of the content, while maintaining a low teacher-to-student ratio.

New for 2013/14: The Place des Arts Theatre Company!

The Theatre Company is a performance-based class made up of a group of dedicated aspiring actors between the ages of 13 and 17. Led by director Tim Perez and skills coach Amy Feld, company members will meet twice a week to rehearse towards two public performances, an original showcase in December and Spoon River Anthology in June. Auditions will be held on June 9. Find out how to audition here.
