Adrian Walker - Photography & Visual Arts for Adults, Children & Youth

Adrian WalkerAdrian Walker is an artist with a multi-disciplinary background and a passion for teaching. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University, a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Education degree from UBC.

Adrian taught fine art, photography and digital media at York House School in Vancouver for 11 years, after which he left teaching to pursue his visual arts career.

Adrian has extensive experience working in acrylic and oil paints, as well as graphite and digital photography. Adrian recently completed an artist-in-residency position at Leigh Square Arts Village in Port Coquitlam. He is also a member of Arts Starts providing art education in Lower Mainland schools.

Adrian’s own art practice makes observations about the world, often blurring the boundaries between abstract and figurative art. With his multi-disciplinary approach to art making, Adrian provides a range of innovative and interactive experiences for new and emerging artists.
