David Robinson – Adapted Arts for Children and Adults, Ceramics Technician, Ceramic Arts for Children

Children's pottery teacher David RobinsonAfter completing his degree from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design with a major in ceramics and a minor in landscape oil painting, David joined the Place des Arts team as both the assistant ceramic studio technician and as an instructor.

David believes that people of all abilities should feel free to express themselves artistically in a space that is both safe and nurturing to their creature processes. With over 15 years of experience as a community support worker, David understands the value of creativity and the impact it can have on an individual and the community.

David's ceramic work has been previously showcased at the B.C. Gallery of Ceramics, IDS West Interior Design Show and the One of a Kind Show and Sale. David is extremely passionate about the virtues of art and feels that through his explorations in clay, he has forged a deeper understanding of both himself and the world around him.
