Joy A. Kirkwood - Adult & Children’s Visual Arts

Joy A. Kirkwood, BFA, is skilled in a diversity of art mediums including acrylics, watercolours, Chinese brush painting, papier mâché and fibre arts. Joy has been involved in arts and education for adults and children for over thirty years and for 2 years taught Expressive Art classes at Wellspring Calgary, an innovative cancer support centre.

Joy is well known for her mixed-media figurative art and for her Personal Journey Doll Workshops. Since 1995, Joy has presented her workshop at various artistic, therapeutic, educational and spiritual centres, as well as privately.

Her work has been showcased by HGTV for their show That's Clever, and Joy continues to exhibit her work and teach throughout Alberta and British Columbia.
